Warning about bidirectional Unicode text January 23, 2022, 12:37:45 am A warning is now displayed when a file's contents include bidirectional Unicode text. Such text can be interpreted or compiled differently than it appears in a user interface. For example, hidden, bidirectional Unicode characters can be used to swap segments of text in a file. This can cause code to appear one way and be interpreted or compiled another way.https://github.blog/changelog/2021-10-31-warning-about-bidirectional-unicode-text/
Re: Warning about bidirectional Unicode text Reply #1 – January 23, 2022, 12:37:57 am Seems overrated to me. We have known about RTL exploits since 2000, why now in news?
Re: Warning about bidirectional Unicode text Reply #2 – January 23, 2022, 12:38:09 am I think the reason is obvious. To make people more aware of the situation.
