SixtyFPS - GUI Toolkit

https://sixtyfps.io

SixtyFPS is a toolkit to efficiently develop fluid graphical user interfaces for any display: embedded devices and desktop applications. We support multiple programming languages, such as Rust, C++, and JavaScript.

Our design goals are:

Lightweight : Fit into a few hundred kilobytes of RAM and require little processing power.

Straightforward : Programmers and designers should feel productive and be able to enjoy the design and development process. The APIs should be consistent, easy to use, and intuitive, no matter the target language. High-quality documentation should describe the APIs, teach concepts and how to use them.

Native : We support many different target platforms, from embedded devices to desktops including mobile and web. Both the user and the developer should feel at home on each platform. The look and feel and experience should match the users' expectations of a native application.

Decentralized Git Service Using Fediverse

Still Being Developed...

Quote
Quote
ForgeFed is an upcoming federation protocol extending the W3C's ActivityPub protocol to provide a uniform server-to-server API for interoperability between networked version control services, with limited pub/sub access for messaging and notifications to and from the larger fediverse. It allows users of any ForgeFed-compliant service to interact with other ForgeFed-compliant forge services, without being a registered user of that foreign service, just as if they were. In this way, users that choose to self-host have the additional benefit/responsibility of fully controlling of their own authentication/identityand their own data.

All of the most common user interactions are supported such as: cloning/forking, merge-requests/patches, bug-reports/code-review, subscriptions/favorites with VCS-agnostic, service-agnostic, and client-agnostic genericity.

Programming Discussion / NasNas - C++ 2D Game Framework
NasNas - C++ 2D Game Framework

https://github.com/Madour/NasNas

An intuitive and user friendly 2D game framework for C++

NasNas is a lightweight modular 2D game framework with a focus on pixel art style games.

It is entirely written in modern C++17, and doesn't have any dependency other than SFML2.

It provides a clean and easy to use API.

The framework is separated in multiple independent modules
-Core and Data are the only non optional modules. They are needed to create a NasNas application. They contain core classes and data needed by the framework.
-Reslib contains the resource manager and resource loader. It handles resource loading and accessing in a very elegant way. This module is optional, you can use your own resource manager and loader if you have specific needs.
-ECS contains the BaseEntity and Components classes. You can add Components to your BaseEntity derived classes to add more functionalities to them, like graphics, basic physics, collider, inputs.
-Tilemapping is a Tiled Map loader (.tmx). It seamlessly integrates with NasNas and speeds up development for tile based games.

Programming Discussion / Ultimate++
Ultimate++

Ultimate++ is a C++ cross-platform rapid application development framework

U++ is a C++ cross-platform rapid application development framework focused on programmers productivity. It includes a set of libraries (GUI, SQL, etc.), and an integrated development environment.

Rapid development is achieved by the smart and aggressive use of C++ rather than through fancy code generators. In this respect, U++ competes with popular scripting languages while preserving C/C++ runtime characteristics.

The U++ integrated development environment, TheIDE, introduces modular concepts to C++ programming. It features BLITZ-build technology to speedup C++ rebuilds up to 4 times, Visual designers for U++ libraries, a Topic++ system for documenting code and creating rich text resources for applications (like help and code documentation) and Assist++ - a powerful C++ code analyzer that provides features like code completion, navigation and transformation.

TheIDE can work with GCC, Clang, MinGW and Visual C++ and contains a full featured debugger. TheIDE can also be used to develop non-U++ applications.

U++ supports following platforms on the production level: Windows, macOS, GNU/Linux & FreeBSD.

What you can get with the Ultimate++ download in plain English?

Very effective C++ library for cross-platform development in source form.

A good integrated development environment, designed for developing large C++ applications.

You can use both, or you can use whichever you need.

Discussion / Be Aware of Techniques for Dilution, Misdirection & Control of an Internet Forum
Be Aware of Techniques for Dilution, Misdirection & Control of an Internet Forum

Strategies can be linked back to things such as https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/COINTELPRO

Technique #1 - 'FORUM SLIDING'
If a very sensitive posting of a critical nature has been posted on a forum - it can be quickly removed from public view by 'forum sliding.' In this technique a number of unrelated posts are quietly prepositioned on the forum and allowed to 'age.' Each of these misdirectional forum postings can then be called upon at will to trigger a 'forum slide.' The second requirement is that several fake accounts exist, which can be called upon, to ensure that this technique is not exposed to the public. To trigger a 'forum slide' and 'flush' the critical post out of public view it is simply a matter of logging into each account both real and fake and then 'replying' to prepositined postings with a simple 1 or 2 line comment. This brings the unrelated postings to the top of the forum list, and the critical posting 'slides' down the front page, and quickly out of public view. Although it is difficult or impossible to censor the posting it is now lost in a sea of unrelated and unuseful postings. By this means it becomes effective to keep the readers of the forum reading unrelated and non-issue items.

Technique #2 - 'CONSENSUS CRACKING'
A second highly effective technique (which you can see in operation all the time at www.abovetopsecret.com) is 'consensus cracking.' To develop a consensus crack, the following technique is used. Under the guise of a fake account a posting is made which looks legitimate and is towards the truth is made - but the critical point is that it has a VERY WEAK PREMISE without substantive proof to back the posting. Once this is done then under alternative fake accounts a very strong position in your favour is slowly introduced over the life of the posting. It is IMPERATIVE that both sides are initially presented, so the uninformed reader cannot determine which side is the truth. As postings and replies are made the stronger 'evidence' or disinformation in your favour is slowly 'seeded in.' Thus the uninformed reader will most like develop the same position as you, and if their position is against you their opposition to your posting will be most likely dropped. However in some cases where the forum members are highly educated and can counter your disinformation with real facts and linked postings, you can then 'abort' the consensus cracking by initiating a 'forum slide.

Technique #3 - 'TOPIC DILUTION'
Topic dilution is not only effective in forum sliding it is also very useful in keeping the forum readers on unrelated and non-productive issues. This is a critical and useful technique to cause a 'RESOURCE BURN.' By implementing continual and non-related postings that distract and disrupt (trolling ) the forum readers they are more effectively stopped from anything of any real productivity. If the intensity of gradual dilution is intense enough, the readers will effectively stop researching and simply slip into a 'gossip mode.' In this state they can be more easily misdirected away from facts towards uninformed conjecture and opinion. The less informed they are the more effective and easy it becomes to control the entire group in the direction that you would desire the group to go in. It must be stressed that a proper assessment of the psychological capabilities and levels of education is first determined of the group to determine at what level to 'drive in the wedge.' By being too far off topic too quickly it may trigger censorship by a forum moderator.
>Flood Detected. Post Discarded

Technique #4 - 'INFORMATION COLLECTION'
Information collection is also a very effective method to determine the psychological level of the forum members, and to gather intelligence that can be used against them. In this technique in a light and positive environment a 'show you mine so me yours' posting is initiated. From the number of replies and the answers that are provided much statistical information can be gathered. An example is to post your 'favourite weapon' and then encourage other members of the forum to showcase what they have. In this matter it can be determined by reverse proration what percentage of the forum community owns a firearm, and or a illegal weapon. This same method can be used by posing as one of the form members and posting your favourite 'technique of operation.' From the replies various methods that the group utilizes can be studied and effective methods developed to stop them from their activities.
>lmao captcha

Technique #5 - 'ANGER TROLLING'
Statistically, there is always a percentage of the forum posters who are more inclined to violence. In order to determine who these individuals are, it is a requirement to present a image to the forum to deliberately incite a strong psychological reaction. From this the most violent in the group can be effectively singled out for reverse IP location and possibly local enforcement tracking. To accomplish this only requires posting a link to a video depicting a local police officer massively abusing his power against a very innocent individual. Statistically of the million or so police officers in America there is always one or two being caught abusing there powers and the taping of the activity can be then used for intelligence gathering purposes - without the requirement to 'stage' a fake abuse video. This method is extremely effective, and the more so the more abusive the video can be made to look. Sometimes it is useful to 'lead' the forum by replying to your own posting with your own statement of violent intent, and that you 'do not care what the authorities think!!' inflammation. By doing this and showing no fear it may be more effective in getting the more silent and self-disciplined violent intent members of the forum to slip and post their real intentions. This can be used later in a court of law during prosecution.

Technique #6 - 'GAINING FULL CONTROL'
It is important to also be harvesting and continually maneuvering for a forum moderator position. Once this position is obtained, the forum can then be effectively and quietly controlled by deleting unfavourable postings - and one can eventually steer the forum into complete failure and lack of interest by the general public. This is the 'ultimate victory' as the forum is no longer participated with by the general public and no longer useful in maintaining their freedoms. Depending on the level of control you can obtain, you can deliberately steer a forum into defeat by censoring postings, deleting memberships, flooding, and or accidentally taking the forum offline. By this method the forum can be quickly killed. However it is not always in the interest to kill a forum as it can be converted into a 'honey pot' gathering center to collect and misdirect newcomers and from this point be completely used for your control for your agenda purposes.

CONCLUSION
Remember these techniques are only effective if the forum participants DO NOT KNOW ABOUT THEM. Once they are aware of these techniques the operation can completely fail, and the forum can become uncontrolled. At this point other avenues must be considered such as initiating a false legal precedence to simply have the forum shut down and taken offline. This is not desirable as it then leaves the enforcement agencies unable to track the percentage of those in the population who always resist attempts for control against them. Many other techniques can be utilized and developed by the individual and as you develop further techniques of infiltration and control it is imperative to share then with HQ.

Discussion / MP3 Link On Front Page
Hi Admin,

One of these things about this page is it truly is something unique as it's loaded with information we all collect over years time.
May I ask for the MP3 Link to be reenabled? I've also sent a PM as a suggestion.

Thank You,

Discussion / Podcast Recommendations
Hey! Id though Id share some of my favorite podcast!
As at this point I am really paying Spotify for Podcasts as I've pretty much stopped listening to Music.
The podcast I tend to listen to are about history, tech, opinion, facts, and interviews.
So if you're interested in any of these topics, or simply want to listen to a podcast, you'll find something for you!

𝗗𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗻𝗲𝘁 𝗗𝗶𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀

Since this podcast was mentioned and recommended in the chat it has honestly become my favorite Podcast and never miss an episode.
It basically covers the topic of cybersecurity and hackers. How hackers get in, How Companies try to protect themselves, When a company gets breached.
So I (as well as probably a lot of users in the chat and forum will tell you) highly recommend it if you are interested in Tech.
And it honestly open my eyes quite a bit in terms of security and privacy.

𝗞𝗮𝗿𝗹𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗿

So I found this after finding his YouTube Channel Fact Fiend (which I also recommend you watch) and binge watching a ton of his videos and he mentioned that he also had a podcast!
Which I found to basically be like his videos but longer and well just the audio. You really can't give a super detailed summery about his content as its more like a guy just talking about what random interesting things.
So for a video (and similarly to his podcast) he talks about an interesting fact/subject and, like a normal conversation, moves on to something else that gets mentioned in the video/podcast.
For example in one of his videos he starts talking about how much effort they put to making the Lego Movie and at the end he is talking about the most creative ways people have made penises.
But yeah like I said the podcast is basically like the videos. And oh yeah he also has a website FactFiend.com. So yeah I recommend it just in general.

𝗔𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗛𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗧𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗿𝘀 & 𝗔𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀

So these are two separate podcast but they are relatively similar so I decided to bundle them together for this one.
In general both are history type podcast and because they are made by Wondery, they use foley sound effects* and conversations that just really make you feel like your there.
American History Tellers is basically like an American History class in which they talk about important/interesting dates/events in America's history.
Everywhere from the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory fire to the Tulsa Race Massacre and all the way to the Bastard Brigade (all of which topics I recommend you listen to in this Podcast).
So for you History fans out there I highly recommend it! And American Innovations covers inventions and creations that have made a lasting impact.
From Chewing Gum and Coca-Cola to Airplanes and Organ Transplants (which I again recommend you listen to in this podcast).
It's honestly a really good way to discover how many things around us were created. Also Fun Fact about this podcast, after listening to the Chewing Gum series
I went out and bought a big box of Wrigley's Juicy Fruit.

*the reproduction of everyday sound effects that are added to films, videos, and other media in post-production to enhance audio quality.

𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗶𝘁 𝗕𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗻

This one again is a History type podcast that explores various topic and how they have slowly evolved to what they are now.
And really shows how much we have advanced and how the systems and things we have now (and often take for granted) took decades of improvement and work to get here.
From Money to Time. It's honestly one of the most densely packed shows with information.
I do have to say that this Podcast has ended but did continue on another one called Context, which I haven't really gotten really into.
But yeah I recommend this one as well!

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗝𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗮𝗻 𝗛𝗮𝗿𝗯𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝘄

I really enjoy this podcast and has some amazing interviews covering a wide verity of subjects (depending on who they are interviewing).
So there is something for everyone! Some of my favorite episodes are Who Does Counterfeiting Really Hurt? Deep Undercover with a KGB Spy in America Part 1 Part 2.
But like I said there is a wide verity of content for everyone!

𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗠𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀

This is a relatively new show again from Wondery. And it also features all the foley sound effects.
It mainly focuses on telling the stories of some of the largest business we know now.
What changes did they face? How did they rise? How did they "fall"?
And I really enjoyed their Walt Disney series, but like I said its still new so there's only 3 series that they have so far as of this post Disney, Coca-Cola, and Uber.
But I still recommend it.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗿 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝘄

Now this one is one of those podcast that is recorded on YouTube and is available as a podcast, so you really have the choice to either listen to it or even watch it.
But this podcast talks about the ever changing world of Creators. Platforms, Creations, Interviews, and pretty much everything in between.
How some of your favorite creators raised or fell? What projects are creators working on? And just in general gives you an insight into the world of media creations.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝗿𝗴𝘂𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁

This podcast is a very opinion-based podcast in which they cover a topic and bring in two people with opposing views and have them discuss their viewpoints and options on the topic (hence the name).
I like it simply because it does allow me to hear both sides of a topic and aren't just left with my own opinion and get to understand the other side viewpoint and opinion.
And these topics are usually trending at the time so it's very relevant. Covering usually controversial or dividing topics. Abortion, Minimum Wage, Cancel Culture, Student Debts, and much much more.

𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗡𝗼𝘄

Now I got into listening to this one after Darknet Diaries and having it recommended in the chat. And its very similar except this one covers the latest news in CyberSecurity.
So the latest breaches, viruses/malware, announcements, and tech. With my favorite segment being "what could go wrong" in which they talk about a recent announcement
or change made that well is potentially a huge security risk (if it hasn't already been used). It's a podcast but is also streamed live/recorded so again you can either listen to it
or watch it. And I will be the first to say that this podcast isn't really for everyone, as it tends to be pretty technical and long usually 2 hours long.
But again if you are interested in technology and cybersecurity I recommend it as well.

So yeah these are some of my favorite podcast and feel free to share your opinions on them or share your own favorites.
And if you listen to any of these feel free to share your views and opinions about them, Im always happy to discuss about them!
