How to make webpage shorcuts on your desktop

If you want website shortcuts on your desktop read on! make a file with .html extension and right click it then hover over "Open With" then in the new drop down menu click "Text Editor" and copy this paste then paste the text you just copied into the file you are editing and replace the http://www.weboas.is with the website you desire
then save your edit with CTRL + S and exit out of the "Text Editor" and now double clicking it will take you to the url you entered

Note: it requires the protocol (http/https) if you dont put a protocol in it wont work
