I am not new to Windows, just never used Win 10 specifically. Had a Win7 machine earlier.
Just purchased a Win10 laptop.

For the most part it doesn't, but I just found out like a day or 2 ago that sandbox was only available on pro

I have never used a vm in my life, so it is highly unlikely i am going to need a sandbox.

Well, if you ever do decide to use a VM, i'd highly suggest:
https://www.virtualbox.org
It runs on most Windows 10 machines out of the box, regardless of whether you're using Home or Pro, and in some cases you'll need to enable Virtualization in the Bios.
