Linux Files inside of File Explorer (Build 18342)

We added the ability for users to access Linux files in a WSL distro from Windows. These files can be accessed through the command line, and also Windows apps, like File Explorer, VSCode, etc. can interact with these files. Access your files by navigating to \wsl$<distro_name>, or see a list of running distributions by navigating to \wsl$. Learn more about accessing Linux files inside File Explorer.

04:01:37 sternnnnn: I don‘t think that one has the linux subsystem

it won't be RTM until the VMWare thing and the anti-cheat software GSOD is fixed. they have to do it by July 5th timebomb.

if it isn't fixed properly by August school supplies season MSFT stock price will likely go down.

if it is fixed the Microsoft Engineers will probably be having a big party and neglecting 20H1 for a while and that will give you time for the PE update.

stay far far away from 20H1. apparently it only can be updated manually. (I call it Windows 20 and Microsoft probably will too when it goes RTM)

The performance editions are only based on Final Builds. If he is wanting features that are in the insider preview builds, he is gonna have to wait.
